Shenandoah Valley Living Brand

The Shenandoah Valley Living brand was inspired in late 2020 when working from home became the norm and people were moving to where they loved to live, not necessarily where they loved to work. The ShenandoahValleyLiving.com website tells the story of the Shenandoah Valley way of life. Created simultaneously with the website, the Shenandoah Valley Life podcast features residents who are living, working and thriving in Virginia’s iconic valley. I enjoyed working with partners to launch this comprehensive talent attraction tool that can be enhanced for years to come.

These projects were created during my Marketing & Communications Manager role with the Shenandoah Valley Partnership. Partners include Pine Knot Projects, Queen City Creative, staunton innovation hub, and Whittington Consulting.

Virtual Experiences
Tell a Story

As the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Shenandoah Valley Partnership (SVP), I was responsible for promoting the region’s business assets. When COVID-19 travel restrictions made traditional methods challenging, I developed an innovative solution: an interactive, virtual cooking show. This initiative allowed SVP to creatively showcase the Shenandoah Valley’s food and beverage industry to economic development professionals across the country. By collaborating with marketing partners, I executed this concept from inception to delivery. The virtual cooking show not only highlighted local success stories but also engaged participants with a hands-on experience. This concept proved both fun and memorable and has since expanded to include nine additional virtual shows across different business sectors.

Video Marketing Series

In partnership with a marketing firm, a video campaign was developed to tell the story of living, working, and playing in the Town of Broadway, Virginia. The video campaign was shared on the web and social media and effectively showcased Broadway’s lifestyle, businesses, and community spirit. By telling a compelling story through video, we engaged a wide audience, built community, and highlighted what makes Broadway special.
